“In February of this year, I decided to brave Disneyland on my own with my 3 year-old daughter and 4 year-old son. I was such a magical trip and we all had so much fun for the 3 days we spent in Disneyland and California Adventure. My favorite memory, however, was when we were watching Mickey’s Soundsational Parade. We had grabbed a couple corndogs and a funnel cake to share, grabbed a great spot between the Castle and Pixie Hollow and enjoyed our meal while we waited for the the parade to start. Once the music began, the kids got so excited! When the Princess float came by, and when my daughter saw one of her favorite princesses, Cinderella, she waved and Cinderella waved back! She was so excited and my 3 year-old daughter then ripped off her sweater when I asked what she was doing she said “I have to show Cinderella my shirt!!” She was wearing a princess shirt we bought on our last Disneyland trip and it has ALL the princesses on it. As a mom, seeing the excitement and joy in my baby’s face, I burst into tears! Even now, just thinking about it… tears!! I can’t wait for our next visit to Disneyland!” – Rachel Hockaday
