Disneyland Resort goes all out for ‘Halloween Time’! Starting today through November 1, 2015, Disneyland is enriched with pumpkins and decorations celebrating the fall holiday. When entering the park, you’ll notice the mix of Halloween and Disneyland 60. In Town Square there’s is a 12 foot high Mickey ‘jack-o-lantern’ complete with pumpkin ears. Main Street USA also features carved pumpkins in the shop windows and through out the stores. Taking over the lamp posts are colorful orange and yellow bunting adorned with a Diamond “D”. Surrounding the ‘Partners’ statue of Walt and Mickey are pumpkins inspired by Disney characters. It’s truly a sight to see! For those of you who can not visit Disneyland during Halloween Time, I offer these photos to give a glimpse of this unique season.
The Haunted Mansion has been transformed into a Tim Burton’s ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme. If you’ve never seen the Haunted Mansion Holiday make sure to include it in your plans this holiday season, you won’t be sorry! To see photos and decorations of Haunted Mansion Holiday click here.
Along with Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain becomes Ghost Galaxy. Space Mountain riders will be launched into an uncharted and haunted section of the universe on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. Out of the darkness and swirling galaxies of Space Mountain, ghosts try to pluck riders from their seats as they speed through space.
As the season goes on we will continue to share photos and videos! Expect a special look at “The Halloween Tree” and other fall festivities. What is your favorite part about ‘Halloween Time’ at Disneyland?
