You read the title correctly: Date Night.

Disneyland Resort is not just for families, but for individuals of all kinds! I’m a big believer in Disneyland trips without the kids (Sorry, my children. Love you!), but when those aren’t possible, maybe attempt a date night!

First things first: Childcare.

We’ve been lucky enough to have friends/family along with us who offered to take our trio while we snuck away for a quiet meal. If you don’t have friends or family willing to take the kiddos for a little bit, and are staying in one of the resort hotels, consider Pinocchio’s Workshop for children ages 5yrs-12yrs. Located in the Grand Californian, for an hourly fee your child can enjoy movies, games and activities while you’re out and about. For an additional 5$ your child’s meal is covered as well. Space is limited, so make a reservation! Contact info and details can be found here. There are also babysitting services available from an outside service that the front desk of your Resort Hotel can connect you with in case your child is under 5.

Where to go?

Having three kids, we rarely get a meal alone, so we take date night VERY seriously. Some of our favorite date night spots are:

While a little on the pricey side, the atmosphere and food are absolutely worth it. I honestly can’t wait to go back! Be sure to make reservations!

Tucked away in New Orleans square, Blue Bayou is definitely a treat. Sitting next to the waters of Pirates of the Caribbean while dining is an amazing experience. Seating is limited, and this is a popular spot, so be sure to make reservations!

  • Churros on Main Street

Simple? Yes. Some of our favorite moments are spent on a Main Street bench people watching. Churros are just the cinnamon sugar on top!

Cozy, warm & relaxing. Grab a drink & some appetizers for a peaceful, low-key evening.

We hope our recommendations will make for some great evenings for you and your significant other! What do you like to do for your date nights at Disneyland?
