Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye’s 20th Anniversary

Disneyland Annual Passholder Event celebrating Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye’s 20th Anniversary. Featuring panel with Tony Baxter!

Disneyland has been having a lot of Annual Passholder events recently. On March 3, The Indiana Jones Adventure celebrated its 20th year! To celebrate this event, Annual passholders were invited to an after hours event.

During the event, the “Jones Family” band played in between Indiana Jones Adventure and Jungle Cruise. As well as, an Indiana Jones ball roller performed stunts (See video for details). High above in Tarzan’s Treehouse, Dr. Indiana Jones took back artifacts from enemies… after all, “this belongs in a museum”.

Only the following lands were open in the event,  Frontierland, Adventureland, and New Orleans Square. Attractions within those lands were open for guest enjoyment. DSC_0168

The big event of the evening was a panel discussion between Tim O’Day and Tony Baxter.  During the panel, they reminisced about the opening of the popular attraction, showed some “never seen” footage, and told some behind the scenes stories.  My favorite part was when Baxter discussed concept art and hidden Easter eggs. Overall, it was a celebration of the attraction. I look forward to more AP events in the future!
